Greens Five Ways: A Hands-On Kitchen Workshop
Think greens are just for salads? Think again. Join us for Greens Five Ways, a fun, hands-on afternoon where we’ll explore clever, simple, and seriously tasty ways to use up every leaf—from kale and chard to carrot tops and mustard greens.
You’ll learn how to make:
✨ Crispy kale chips and freeze kale for smoothies and soups
✨ Zesty carrot top chimichurri (yes, the tops are edible—and delicious!)
✨ Beet green pesto you’ll want to put on everything
✨ Quick-pickled mustard greens for next-level sandwiches and bowls
✨ Crispy Swiss chard toppings to level up your meals
We'll dive into hands-on stations where you'll chop, blend, mix, and taste your way through each green. You’ll leave with jars of your creations, fresh skills, and a printed tip sheet so you can keep the inspiration going at home.
Whether you’re a beginner in the kitchen or a produce box pro, this workshop is a delicious way to celebrate the season, reduce food waste, and discover just how versatile greens can be.
